BlueClaws Charities hosts "Bowling With BlueClaws" at Sea Girt Lanes on April 18th. The event, just $12, comes with bowling, pizza, autographs and pictures with BlueClaws players, plus raffle tickets to win unique prizes like a team autographed bowling pin or bowling ball.

The BlueClaws hosted the annual Phillies Winter Tour stop in Lakewood on January 25th, featuring 2011 BlueClaws LHP Jesse Biddle, new BlueClaws manager and former Phillies 2B Mickey Morandini, as well as current Phillies manager Charlie Manuel and GM Ruben Amaro.

The event raised several thousand dollars (specific amount not yet finalized) for BlueClaws Charities.

Recent News



BlueClaws Charities, the official non-profit foundation of the Lakewood BlueClaws, gave grants to 25 Jersey Shore organizations through their end-of-year grant program. An additional 14 organizations benefited with a grant compared to 2010.

BlueClaws Charities Community Partners, area 501c3 organizations that partner with the BlueClaws, are eligible to receive a grant. The money must go to a project or an event that benefits residents of Monmouth or Ocean Counties.

About BlueClaws Charities



BlueClaws Charities has contributed almost $2 million in community outreach since the team's 2001 inception. Between the BlueClaws and their sister team, the Trenton Thunder, over $5.4 million has been raised and donated since 1994.

Through the unique Community Partners Program, BlueClaws Charities and the Lakewood BlueClaws have partnered with more than 40 area non-profit organizations to assist both fundraising and awareness. BlueClaws Charities provided 25 Community Partner organizations with grants at the end of the 2011 season.
