The BlueClaws annually host their ALS Celebrity Waiter Event, to benefit BlueClaws Charities and the ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia, the principle charity of the Philadelphia Phillies.

The event is typically held in May and the tentative date for the 2012 dinner is Wednesday, May 23rd. Be sure to check back here for updates on event specifics and how you can order tickets.

The ALS Celebrity Waiter Event features all 25 BlueClaws players serving as the waiters for the fans at the dinner. The players sign autographs and pose for pictures throughout the night. Meanwhile, BlueClaws coaches typically serve as the bartenders.

In the first 11 years of the ALS Celebrity Waiter Event, over $110,000 has been raised for the ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia.
